well my teacher is a world history teacher and he got one of those political videos from some website and I asked him where he got them and he said "go to http://www.mediaconverter.org/ to get any video, music, etc." I though it would't work but if you go to youtube.com, you can look at a video and turn the URL to kissyoutube with the link code still there but the video files are flv so you have to get the program. so use that media converter to get any type of video you want. it is cool too but you get a max of 10 per day.

there are so many programs and different ways you can capture videos from FLV, meaning hosted Flash videos streaming live on the web... most of them give you a free trial, and then theres those that give a free full time access.. you can then convert these videos with a FLV2AVI Video converter...

One of my friends made a nice flash grabber to get a lot of this sort of stuff.

well the thing is, last time when I downloaded a FLV reader, I got a lot of hooks. most of the programs out there have hooks and there is not way to get rid of them and then you have to blow away your computer like I had to do for the 4th time.

See thats why you don't just download every single file you come across, if you do you are retarded.

I don't use Anti-virus or spyware checkers, because I don't get virus's or spyware. I'm a conscientious downloader.

and that's an other problem. you don't get viruses from downloading either. any type of website you go on might have a file on there that is linked on there that gives off viruses. without antivirus, you computer can get any type of bugs. you don't know about it until your computer crashes.

my sister know too because her's crashed when she had the first version of norton and it didn't detect the other viruses.

also my friend and I inherited stickpage.com and it had files on there and lots of bugs on it so we sold it for $10. it was a peace of crap too.

for any videos for projects or anything, i use Moyea FLV downloader.. and you mentioned videos to capture on Youtube, Myspace, and Metacafe.. none of those will put any sort of bug in your comp.. and i agree with Trippin, you have to be a conscientious downloader...

Actually I do know whether my computer has spyware or viruses. It's pretty obvious to me when computers have them. And this coming from the guy who thinks windows vista is linux.

I don't think vista is linux. I know what a linux is. it's very hard to get and very expensive. I don't want linux anyways. also it's not obvious that you might have a virus. I am not a downloader I just found this website out by my teacher if anyone wants to download their favorite clip from youtube or something. the only things I download is trusted things from downloads.com that has at least 50 or more votes saying it is a good program.

Wow, I don't know where you get your information from. Linux is free. There are some distros that cost money, but they are still open source and offer their source code for free, therefore someone probably has a free version of that distro out there somewhere. And why won't WAMP work on your computer? More than likely user error.

I can get that easier. and no linux will not work on my computer. other people are trying to install it too but version 2 will not work on peoples computer and I don't know where to register for a dns for my computer when wamp is actually working on my computer. also I need to obtain and IP address for my computer to put the dns on.

Ask your ISP for a Dedicated IP Address then when you have your domain redirect it to the ip address

Let me be the first to say 'WHAT?!', where on earth do you source your information from... what the heck is 'Linux Version 2', the kernel? There are few computers that won't run linux (none to which I've come across), the majority of hardware is supported, and for a server you only need the bare essentials working.
