by the way Bread, WAMP will not work on my computer. thanks for giving me some type of crap.
Wow... just wow; just because you're technically inept does not mean the software is...
I have dealt with WAMP's and LAMP's for quite a few years now so I know the information I provided was 100% correct; instead of flailing accusations perhaps you should do a bit of research or actually ask a specific question pertaining to your issues...
I'm frankly (along with quite a few of the members here) getting quite annoyed with your total lack of respect for any other forum member, your attitude is highly obnoxious and you appear to live on cloud 9; you believe people should be providing servers and their services (such as the arduous task of setting up your server and maintaining it) for free... welcome to the real world, this rarely happens.

I'm talking a linux computer not a linux server. I can get that easier. and no linux will not work on my computer. other people are trying to install it too but version 2 will not work on peoples compute
Let me be the first to say 'WHAT?!', where on earth do you source your information from... what the heck is 'Linux Version 2', the kernel? There are few computers that won't run linux (none to which I've come across), the majority of hardware is supported, and for a server you only need the bare essentials working.

I don't know where to register for a dns for my computer when wamp is actually working on my computer. also I need to obtain and IP address for my computer to put the dns on.
http://dyndns.orghttp://noip.comIf you have your own domain, some registrars provide dynamic DNS services upon those too (namecheap for instance do).
Before making anymore rash statements, I suggest you research it before you make a fool of yourself anymore.
