My pc has a weird sound coming out of it, sounds like one of those buzz saws. WTF does this mean????
Sugarblossoms
Uh-oh.. Maybe your hard drive or perhaps the fan?
Ed
Definitely need to isolate where the noise is coming from, could be something minor like a wire touching one of the fans. If it's your harddrive you need to backup quick as the bearings are going within your harddrive.
Alex
I think it's most likely to be a wire catching on a fan, I've had that happen before with the heatsink fan, just need to shove it back out of the way.

well it stoped after like 10 or 15 mins. Thought my pc was about to blow up tho.
Jacob
May be it's a bomb...That could be exciting. Backup in case she blows.

You should probably call someone who deals with computer issues around you to check it out for any damage.
Jacob
Or option 2, get the video camera and sit by it until it does blow up then post it on here for my enjoyment?

Jacob.

Sounds like the bearing of the fan in the power supply. I've heard it quite a few times through managing networks.

yup haha, or pop off the side cover (is it a desktop) and take a look inside, seem if anything looks wrong, dont try to mess with anything if you dont know what you're doing just look and see if you see wires stuck in the fan etc.

Edit: I also suggest backing up your important documents etc right now, since your computer is still running. If it is your hard drive, you'r SOL
