Hey-lo, I'm still making my site...

I've just got phpBB3 and was working on all the install steps. I got past the mysql, admins setting, etc and sucessfully created the tables in the database. But just as I was about to proceed to the go-to-Final-Stage, this error popped up.

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 6291456 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 2048 bytes) in /www/99k.org/s/a/h/sahabatppum/htdocs/includes/utf/utf_tools.php on line 1824

... and in clear white background too. I'm supposing it's with my utf_tools.php file in /includes/utf but I'm exactly sure where/what line 1824 is. I've tried downloading the file from phpBB mainsite (in case mine was corrupted or something) and uploaded it to my account but the same problem still popped up.

Is there a way to overcome this? That'll be a great help.

I've posted a thread to the other admins with instruction to assist, they should be able to alleviate some of this for you.

Okay, I've now increased it. Hopefully that helps.

Oh wow, it works! Thank you very much. Once I get it up and running, maybe I'll post my site in the reviews forum, under "Amateurish Attempts of Final-Year College Student for Non-Profit Organization." laugh.gif
