i have 2 problems

1- today when i tried to login to cpanel i received this message "Query has caused an errorWarning: An error occured while calling DB::select_db()"

2- from office most of the time i could login but i could not login from my laptop at home every time i tried to login it says i have been loged in successfully but immediately after that i receive another message that i am not logged in and i have to login. i tried to login by diferent explorers but the result was same

i search the forum and i saw several people have the same problem but there is no answer to their querries
i appreciate if somebody can help me

In IRC chat someone was having this problem, well several people. Most be something going on with the server. Bread said he had to get going for the night, I'm sure he/or someone else will get on it, and if it's gona take a while to fix they'll probally post a thread some where on the forum letting people know wats going on.

The service provider had a power outage, and the db servers have not yet come back online. This does effect the zcp.

Instead of saying "this happened to me too, help please." Post more details. Error Code, What details you were trying to login with (FTP/ZHCP) and when it occurred. That helps a little more the "plz help".

there is a database problem on zymic control panel and you must wait. something probably changed when the admins were looking at the databased and getting rid of something in it.

an other thing is, you might have windows NT, XP, or vista because the same thing happened to me. the most trusted program is firefox and it is proven to work way better than explorer. it is faster and more reliable. I use it everyday to administer my website and from your office, I don't know maybe you are using an upgraded version of the computers because big businesses or small business and schools have special programs in the computers that will let you do stuff but schools has a lot of security but since I'm on here at school, there is no problem with this.

also you might have problems you might never know about on your computer that you need to get rid of. go on google.com and rind regcure. that is a program that goes into your registry keys and looks at the problems and report it.

Not to be mean but the version of windows you are running on has nothing to do with the web and yes firefox is the most trusted program in the world but Internet Explorer still works just fine for accessing different pages. Plus most Schools and big Businesses wouldn't just block a control panel they would block this whole website inless you were in collage.

I know some for information provided. it might be because of your laptop problems that are hidden that is running on your laptop. what I'm messaging on right now is a laptop and it is an NT. before that was an XP computer. when I looked at it and upgraded this laptop, they both were not working right for both systems of XP and NT. NOW, for the vista. vista has a lot of security, and most of that security runs on explorer. I know because when windows explorer wasn't working for me for the first 3 times, I looked at the task manager and I tried to end the explorer program because I tried ending the internet explorer and wouldn't work. when I ended that, the whole screen would just show the background image and nothing else.

if you have vista, it is best to try getting on internet explorer with a little wait and try getting to mozilla. might take from 3-10 minutes like mine did. laptops don't have much mem and ram in them so they are slow when it comes to big programs trying to run. I have 3 programs that are running and they require at least 20k to 35k ram and my laptop is a 10k ram computer. that only limits me though. I can use ftp as long as it doesn't have hooks in them or they don't use too much ram. so when there is no problem with your computer, mozilla works a lot better and loads webpages in at least 3-8 seconds. I know because I estimated. when I turned off all my security stuff, and left it on all night and day, I came back with lots of problems. then afterward, you try getting onto mozilla and it goes I think about 30 seconds-3 minutes for web pages to load because hackers and hooks and other things get into your system without you knowing it. I have an update of that too. I got an image of my regcure when I already done my project and also before I have done my project. things were messed up though.

that reminds me I have to buy the regcure program for my computer to get rid of all the problems though

truly i have no idea what gambino is talking about but taha e their are problems with the main servers that is causing everyone problems accessing their websites. Tuesday Jack is moving to a different fast and New server so Most problems should be Fixed.

Also I meant to mention, Jack has posted in the news thread that the server is back online, and the read-only issue has been fixed. Server move is still happening Tuesday like McSweeney mentioned.

I'm also having trouble: when I click the "Signup for free web hosting account button" (this is what I'm supposed to click to make a website, right?), it says the server is down but will be up in 4 hours. However, it also says it will have stopped doing so by the 12th of this month, and today is definitely the 23rd. Something's wrong here...

It's probably a message Jack made before the 12th but just put back up while the server is down (which it is again).
The latest new post explains everything that has been going on and Jack has said that by this coming Friday the server transfer should be done and everything should be working properly by then.

bud now I got a new problem...

first of all my zymic is very very slow, it never used to be THIS slow...
