Doe's anybody know why my battery wont charge?
I reformatted and partitioned my harddrive about two wees ago.
The hardward device manager says that "This device is working fine".
Well, low and behold, IT'S NOT!!!
I don't think that my battery is dead all of a sudden, but what do I know?
Doe's anybody have any possible solutions that I might have overlooked?
I'd appreciate any kind of thought.
TY

its most likely a bad battery, batteries generally work or dont work, unfortunately when they dont work you pretty much have to get a new one.

I had this same problem last year with my Acer, but it was about 2-3 weeks before I realized it had happened. It was a case of dead batery cells and it was messing with my keyboard, mouse, and even the power button, so I had it replaced. An alternative would be battery repacking, but I shun away from the idea because they are utterly ripping their customers off to do it; it was easier and less expensive for me to just replace it.
