i need information about how i intall Joomla! here, can I use localhost for database server?

Yes you can, check with your host they will know.

a suggestion, be carefull when you install joomla, took me much time before i was able to install it FULLY. also, i didnt like since the navigation is really hard ! if you really want a portal i suggest geting phpbb3 and the phpbb3 portal... wich works pretty much the same as joomla, but it looked 100x easyer when i used it.

i was going to tell that at first... but than the "Its your choice" came in.... Joomla... hard to install... hard to use... hard to modify :/ don't be afraid to convert your soul to PhpBB new version (3) ROCKS !!!!
