Well, after I showed all my forum signatures a few of you asked if I ever did any web design or suggested that I should, so since I was so bored I put this together. I don't know tits all about xhtml/css coding so someone else is coding it for me but the design is there. It's my first ever, no tutorials or shat like that used. I was going for a simple clean look. I think this took me about 45 minutes to an hour. And yes I know the footer says designed and coded but it hasnt been coded yet

It looks good, but like crown said, you should give it a name or maybe a logo, cus when i first look at it i have no idea what it is for, i know its for a gaming clan???? but no idea what game you play or what clan it is

But your first attempt its really good

not bad. just add a name for it somewhere like everyone else said. good work with opacity and gradients though

well its Hendo's design and thats what he wanted so i did as he wanted but i would agree with you on that th with you but i will wait and see what he comes back with.

I liked it too.

I know people already said that, but you could add your logo to the banner.

its not really for personal use, just at template for others so i just leave the file blank and so they can edit it with Photoshop, fireworks etc.

The site is pretty cool, but i would change couple things,

its kind of small and it feels empty around, probably add something to the left and right.
the load time is horrible, you should use gradients for the images so they can repeat via CSS and load 100x faster
should not use tables to code it, should use divs (that's just a preference)

other than that that graphics are nice and its nicely made.

And it loads in like 1.5 seconds for me

I dont like the design. The live version just plain kills it . The loading times probably would be long but it loads around
1 - 3 secs for me on my machine.

The design is too dull. I dont really get what the design is trying to convey. If it wasnt for the header image i would have no clue. Not much in the design to be honest.

Very good for your first template.
My first design was awful.

Things to improve on:

- Make the whole layout wider
- Add text to the header for a title and maybe a slogan
- The menu could be in tads, maybe a line between them to show a clear difference in the tabs
- The header for "content" maybe could be aligned to the left
- The left navigation could maybe have backgrounds, and a different colour background on roll over... like boxes?
- the footer could be taller, looks a bit squashed in there

Overall, a nice first design. Nice work.
