Hahahhaa! laugh.gif

It''s not that simple. It's not like Paint or anything like that where you just open the file and draw/paint it. Flash is more complex.

flash is not easy, i wouldnt recommend starting to make a flash site until you have a decent set of knowledge about flash, do many many many tutorials and read lots.

Well, I am planning on upgrading to Flash... I'll stick to HTML for now. wink.gif

:|. You only know HTML and your trying to code a flash site? Good luck.
It's just like any language, it's easy IF you know what your doing in which this case, you don't. HTML is a long way off Flash.

Helpful as ever Narzy :P

You will only learn by experimenting and reading lots. Look for a good beginners flash book or find some tutorials to follow on the net. Join the irc chat if you need more advice on good learning material and somebody will gladly point you in the right direction.

If you want to learn how to code in Flash, I recommend starting out with simple applications such as Web Banners and then onto something a little more complicated like user login forms. From there, the world is your oyster.
Look at others projects and try to learn what techniques and skills were used in it. Don't just copy, try to create.

Do you have the Flash editor or just the Flash player? You have to buy the Flash editing software. There's a free trial available at Adobe's site.
