I'm assuming he meant because Obama won. So palin is old news.

I assume he was referring to the fact that Palin is entirely incompetent and not what would have been best for the country.
Mind you, I am no fan of McCain either and I understand how he attempted to get the female vote by making a female his VP, but honestly there are many better choices out there. If McCain honestly thought that Palin was good enough to VP, then he really didnt deserve to win the election anyway.
