I've made some beginner stuff, but this is the first thing I've made that I wouldn't be ashamed to put my name on. Its a bit over-the-top, but I think I like it that way. Hopefully this will be my first Wordpress Theme. The main box definitely needs to be wider, and I should make a footer... But here it is so far.

C&C please:

Also, is anyone having issues with hosting? Whenever I try to establish a connection, it says my password is wrong (which it isn't.)

I'm curious, did you make the vectors yourself?

Yes. I took very basic geometric shapes and played with them in PS with the Liquefy Filter.

over all the design is looking damn good. but in my opinion the clolor black in the background is giving the lloks of a flash template. try experimenting with the background color.

It isn't my style, but I actually like it. It's different, unique. Good job.

I'd experiment with the bg aswell, but looks nice so far.

I was being lazy and didn't re-edit the transparent layers, but this would be the general color. Is it still too dark?

Thanks.

Looks great to me, especially for your first real design. I would mess around with the content area a bit though.

it's your first real design but not your real first design, or is it?

anyway it's look good for me, maybe a 7.5/10

looks good! i like ur colors...
but the background seems to over power the text
even if you blacked it out...

Well, it's different and I must say I like the vectors. smile.gif
The content area could definitely be improved, though. Keep practising. biggrin.gif

I really like the vectors, they remind me of street graffiti and it gives your site that kind of urban street vibe. I would personally choose a lighter background (liek white or something close to it) and the vectors should pop more.
Jenie
on the other hand. i like what you did with the gray bg. it suits the vector art you made.
