Well if you get fed up with photoshop you can always use this
http://sourceforge.net/project/downloading...use_mirror=osdn.
It's a free editor from Gimp.org. I have found it most fascinating and it can do pretty much everything Photoshop can. Anyone else have any experience with this one?

@ SwintellSoft: Chances are that you are using the Grayscale or CMYK colour palette for your Photoshop document. The CMYK mode is intended for images/graphics that will be printed [in newspapers or magazines etc] and cannot display some colours/shades from the RGB palette, which is intended for graphics/images that'll be displayed primarily on monitors.
Therefore, you receive an "out of gamut" warning for these colours [gamut is the range of colours that a particular palette can display] that your current colour palette cannot display.
Switch to the RGB palette by creating a new document and choosing RGB in the Mode drop-down box in the New Document settings dialogue box that appears when you press Ctrl + N.
Cheers!
