I'm working on getting a new PC, gona build a beauty

. Any ways I'm not sure what monitors to get, I'm planning on using this computer for graphic design and audio recording. Anyways, I want to get 2 monitors, the build costing about 2 grand so my budget right now is about 300 bucks for 2 monitors give or take. Should I buy two? What should i buy? should I just buy one for $300 and save up and get another later on? What should I buy?
Thanks,

Well, you only have $300. Monitor prices will vary depending on your location, type of monitor, size of monitor, etc.
A good LCD monitor costs approximately $250+.
a CTR monitor is less expensive. If I were you, I would just get ONE monitor, then save money to get the second one.

I built a PC not long ago and I needed to get a monitor, so I just bought the $540 Touchscreen monitor.

i really dont have a limit on how much i spend on the monitor, its just will determine when i can finish the build. I guess i made this thread because i dont know what size monitor etc i should get.
how is the touch screen monitor working out?

Just curious, all the recording i do is on a single monitor, wat do you usually have on each monitor? i envisioned the two monitors as more of a benefit for graphic design.
Thanks,
Kevin
Multiple monitors increases productivity ten-fold. Definitely go with two, you won't regret it. My current setup consists of a 23" monitors in the centre and a 17" either side of that and I could even find a use for another monitor!
Just allows you to split your tasks, for programming at least, one screen tends to be a web browser and the other a text editor. The task bar becomes almost redundant at times.

For recording, I'll have the DAW on the big screen - 22" widescreen, and either a mixer or VST settings on the other monitor - my old CRT 17".
It makes a lot of things easier, I'll usually have itunes on the smaller screen and my browser on the big one. Also, recording software can be complicated, the on screen manual is handy to have on one monitor and the application itself on the other.
