It has a very mac feel to it in my opinion. The one thing I have issues with is the "Sublink" area and the right sidebar with the login, they both look very plain and out of place.

I like this. I like the tabbed links at the top and the faded top bar.

I'm not sure the article font flows with the layout though. A consistent font family would look better, just alternating the size. Or perhaps it's just because it looks a little squashed (increasing the line height would help).

Yea definitely supposed to use a different font, but it's supposed to be the same serif or sans-serif.

You used a sans-serif font in the header, so you should use a sans-serif in the body.

very nice layout, maybe you should try to apply reduce the opacity of the avatar's border I think it could be nice.

I like the updated version. I don't know but looking at your design makes me feel like floating on air, LOL.
