Hi,

I was wondering whether I can access my database remotely from anywhere on the internet, or whether I'm restricted to localhost.
I tried using SQLyog to connect, but I always get Error 2003 - can't connect to MySQL server (10060). I verified the url, user and password, so my only guess is that Zymic has a firewall that blocks access. Is there a way of adding an IP range or a dyndns address so I can access my db from wherever I am?

Thanks for your help.
Ed
Yes, Zymic hosting is restricted to localhost only.

Afraid not, the restriction is firewall based. Why not just access it via zcp, you can access that anywhere,
