I feel stupid having to ask this. But I made a BIG mistake.
Okay, so I forgot my password to my forum, so I was going to reset it manually.
Well I forgot the database password........ So I deleted the database username. Not the Database its self but the username to use it....
Well you can imagine error then. So I tried to fix it by re-making the database username by the same name......
Still error.

Is there anyway to link them together again and bring it back? I didn't delete the database its self just the username...x.x

Um, anyone?
DJPazze
Well, that should work.

let me ask you this...

Are you using the vndv server? if so, you are not gonna be able to modify anything untile its up and running again. wink.gif
Andrew
DJPazze he's obviously not using the vndv server if his site address is whatever.zxq.net

And as for the problem, did you assign the privileges in the database setting page in your zymic control panel?
Make sure you press the button to link your username and database with all the privileges.

One thing about scripts that are running through a database is that they all need a config file to connect to it. In the config file you must define what the username and the password is in order to connect. So why did you not just check your config file for the password instead of deleting your user?
Hikaru
Thank you very much! Yeah it was stupid of me. I wasn't thinking when I did it. Otherwise I would of just looked in config. But we all make mistakes. Thank you so much for the help though.
