i have a question if someone can point me or just write the code inside the example1.fla how to keep playing the animation till its finishes when the onRelease function is activated, but the mouse is away of the movie clip after its execution. The animation suddenly stops playing. How to make onRollOut function to wait till the animation finishes.
Thank you in advance

P.S. here is the download link of the example for you to see exactly what i mean, because i may miss something in my explanation of the problem.

I couldn't view your Fla since I use an older version of Flash. Is the TellTarget function is supported by newer versions of Flash? You may have to use that [or its newer version] to correct your problem... or why have a RollOut event at all? That way, your animation begins when your mouse is over the m.clip and ends in its own time... For more info try looking here.

Take a look at this SWF file.

The top button does what you want -- animation continues even when mouse moves away from the button.

The button at the bottom is probably what you're getting -- animation stops when mouse moves away.

I've used "TellTarget" to control the short text animation for the top button. You should use the updated command and not TellTarget since you use a newer version of Flash.
