Anyways, I was uploading some stuff to the root directory(phpbb3 to be exact), and after I uploaded everything, deleting the original index.html, I noticed that when I went to the website it still went to the old, deleted, index.html... In all of my years web developing I have never seen this. It was weird. Today I looked and its fine now, but I thought that was weird/cool that it was showing the file that wasn't there and when i went to index.php it was fine too. Lol

That's most likely to be your browser's cache. The browser keeps a local store of recently viewed pages so that they can be loaded again in a timely fashion. If this happens again you can force it to fetch the new page by using a hard refresh.

I know about the cache. Hell, I don't even know why I didn't think of that. Such an odd occurance to me lol.
