I cant connect using php from my ubuntu linux machine. I tried the host name as vgpumps.vndv.com. But alway the program says "mysql_connect() can't connect to the specifyied site" How it happens? Is there any other way to connect to MySQL at web server?

We don't allow outside connections to mysql. You can only connect to mysql through your vndv account.

I'm afraid that's not possible. If you want to get the data, you'll need to export it from phpmyadmin manually.
