Please help me to install phpbb3 to my site
when i insert database setting in phpbb3 installer
This allert appear
Could not connect to the database, see error message below.
Access denied for user 'sahabat44_sahaba'@'localhost' (using password: YES)
Please help

Have you set up a database using phpmyadmin? The username looks ok, what's your database name?

There's your problem. The maximum length for a database name/user name is 16 characters, and your database name is 18. Trya db name of databa, that should work.

Make it in exactly the same way you made the first one. Else, there's a tutorial here.

Ok, here's the way to do it.

Goto mysql management << make a user name << enter a password too << make a database name << now access the user phpmyadmin << it will ask for username and password << enter the database name and the password, you're in.

Database created, done.

hello... to solve the prob, maybe you must change the CHMOD to 0777 for the error that appear there..
