This issue has now been fixed on all new domains that are assigned.

I am using subdomain of zzl.org and i still do not see any images.

Looks fine to me, but this is a different issue - unless you have another url that does not work.

Check your links in your source code for those images that aren't showing. I couldn't hit any of them when I tried linking to them directly. I noticed it might be as simple as changing some of the image's extensions in your code from .jpg to .gif. Also try reloading the images that are missing to the server. I've made these mistakes before. Just a thought.

If your network is using Active Directory , a Group Policy might be set to remove users from the local admin group after a specified amount of time. It's about 90 minutes at my job.

The image that loads is pointed to the Images directory, the rest are pointed to images.

And mp3's are disallowed due to copyright issues.

Hi I've just signed up on here. Has everyone who's using an ftp (I'm using Filezilla) added a new directory called images to place all of their images in? (Right click on the main folder in Filezilla and click create directory) Then made sure that their html code is correct in accordance to the new directory.

For instance for my site www.euphoriaart.co.uk I made a new directory called images and used the code http://www.euphoriaart.co.uk/images/euphoriaartheader.jpg in order for the page to link correctly to image in the images folder.


Is that why many aren't seeing there images or am I barking up the wrong tree?

All your images work for me.

Are you trying to link them from a remote site? If this is the case, it won't work as there's hotlink protection on all domains.

I have one sliced up image on one of my pages and it is not showing up. There is one line of text that is showing up, just not the image. I have tried png and jpg, but have had no luck. Could somebody help.

If you access ub3r-dud3s.uuuq.com/template053/ it works fine. You need to copy the template053/images folder into your root folder.

I see the date of the post was back in February. I, perchance, came across it while perusing the forum and visited the Patsakid site. I ran through the site code and discovered what I believe is the problem: Check your "<td height="123" colspan="2"><img src="../../../../Tourette's Site/images/banner.gif" width="1136" height="119"></td>" line (this is line 69 in your code).

I believe it should read "<td height="123" colspan="2"><img src="banner.gif" width="1136" height="119"></td>".
This should be appropriate to allow the banner to be displayed providing the banner.gif is in "patsakids.uuuq.com" images folder. A special note: before making changes to the code make a backup of it (your index.htm) so in the event I'm wrong the index may be replaced to the original form.

I can see a few images, which images specifically are missing?

For example:

All the JPG images shown a "red cross" icon. For GIF images, they could only be loaded "half-way" (i.e. it seems like with mosaic effect)

Which FTP mode are you using (ASCII or Binary?), the image data appears to be corrupt, do the filesizes match the ones on your computer?

I was using "Auto-detect" when uploading the images. I have changed it to "Binary" and uploaded again. The images could be displayed now!!
