The fun of uploading files continues. Due to the frequent FTP errors encountered when uploading files (sessions reset etc) I am trying to delete a directory. Unfortunatelyt it is impossible using either FTP client or the file manager interface. I suspect it is a screwed permissions problem as permission resets have no effect. What is going on with the servers at the moment?

On a lighter note, I have escaped any 502 errors so far today...

The vndv drive has slipped into read-only again. This downtime is due to a disk check, and should be finished in an hour or so.

blloyd - what ftp errors were you getting? There are 2 or 3 very common ftp errors that are due to a slightly misconfigured client.

The error message is a dead giveaway... if you've deleted all the files within the directory, make sure hidden files are on and there's no .htaccess etc floating around.

I can't delete files at all no matter what the permissions are, I'm using Zymic's panel (File Manager) since I can't use FTP from where I am at.

Any help with that?
