hello. i registered a domain name the other day. I couldnt complete my request because it kept saying that the vndv.com dns was down. however, when i attempted to register the domain today, i saw that it was already up, and that it did not register to my account. so now, the domain that i need is sort of floating in web space without anyone who owns it.

You probably do own it - have you tried logging in via ftp?
