Ok, this has been going on for 2 days now. I am starting to get very upset. The file upload to the ftp on the vndv platform has been VERY slow and 95% of the time failing. I have tryed 3 different computers to do this, so please dont say its my computer. Now, it wont even get a response from the server..

There is no errors that I am getting or anything of that matter, but when uploading files it takes forever. To upload 3 scripts all under 6kb it took 9 minutes. No offense but that's insanely slow. (site is finalodyssey.vndv.com) It's not a connection problem on my end, I know this because I tried to upload files on another server that I use and it loaded the same 3 files in less then 3 sec.. I'm not sure if this time of day might be the cause of it or what not because this is a free server and all, but if there is something you can do to increase the upload speed abilities that would be grate.

Thank you.

now i can upload, but when i upload it takes the site offline. It takes ages to upload files and thats starting to make me feel bad, because when i tested this service, it WAS fast but now its like.. blah.. insanely slow.

I tried medicalhalacha as well as medicalhalacha@.... (after seeing the suggestion in the forum). Both logins had the same behavior - sometimes would not connect at all, sometimes would connect but be REALLY SLOW, and occassionally would work normally for brief periods.

It really seems like something is screwy with the FTP process on the server side...

Set your timeout to something longer than the default. Default seems to be around 20 seconds, set it to 100 or so.

As posted in FTP Issues topic, I'm experiencing this also. Time-out is set to 120, 1 upload at a time, but so damn slow! Is it server-side or?
