Hello,
I want to transfer my site to Zymic.
To achieve this, I have a full backup from my website hosting provider, including all files, MySQL databases, links etc.
This is in the shape of a .tar.gz file.
My other provider uses Cpanel to access all the files.
I did notice that everything is backed up, but Zymic seems to do things differently, at my previous providers all the main website files were in a folder "public_html", which does not seem to be the case here.
So, it is probably not possible to just upload the tar.gz file and then in some way extract it?
Or do I have it wrong?
The thing is, I do not really fancy remaking my MySQL databases all manually in order to get the information therein across.
However, I can also get a database backup in .sql format.
I believe it is possible to enter all that information in a phpadmin query and set up your entire DB like this. Is that correct?

Then, I have my own domain name.
Will it work for Zymic to (as I did in previous migrations) to go to my domain provider's site and enter the Zymic DNS server names for my domain to let the domain point at my Zymic webspace?

And finally, does Zymic webspace also provide email facilities?
I mean, will I be able to set up a POP3 server to deal with email sent to my domain name?

Sorry about all those questions, but the Zymic system seems quite different to the hosting systems that I have been used to so far.

Thank you very much in advance for any help.
Klauwaart.

For MySQL you can use phpmyadmin to import your database.

Your domain is easily transferable once name servers are set by using http://hosting.zymic.com/user_settings.jsp you can set your domain.

There are no mail facilities available on Zymic hosting.

Hope that answers your queries.
