Whats up,

I just started on this site and have the free service. How do I navigate through all of the fancy instructions so I can get started?

All I am trying to do is put up a site where armature writers can paste their writings.
I will be the host. I am just trying this web host thing out before I really put it up.

Also, let me know if this site is really for professionals or what ever. Is there a easier site some where?

Well since you're just starting out I'm assuming you don't know HTML/CSS. HTML/CSS is the language websites are written in, and although not completely necessary to understand it or know it. You won't get very far with your website without it. They make "WYSIWYG" editors, stands for what you see if what you get. You could maybe pull off a simple site with one of these editors, but considering you want people to be able to post on your site that will involve some php. I would suggest checking out WordPress and Joomla. These are fairly simple to set up and easy to use. Using one of the two seems like it would be easiest for your needs.

If you are serious about this site and want to make it "good" I would suggest learning HTML/CSS and having a go at it the real way. I'm always in IRC I'd be happy to help you out.
