In short, apparently the new version uses more ram for a single page, but it uses LESS ram when viewing multiple pages. That makes perfect sense.
Regardless, I'm pretty stoked. Firefox will no longer use 250mb+ ram on a daily basis.
So, how much ram is Firefox consuming on your computer?

Mine uses around 61mb+ lol. However, if FF3 uses LESS memory for multiple pages then FUCKING-A! I've always got at least 3-5 pages (like I do now, lol).
Interesting article, btw. Though overall, I would assume that Mozilla would make FF3 with improved performance in mind, it's one of the things (aside from tabbed browsing) that they're known for.

When im looking at a single page without like Java applets or stuff like that like 50-60mb...But when I have many tabs open I have seen firefox us like 200mb+
