I personally don't like the design. Reminds me of the late '90's when websites had really no design.
I would suggest trying to get a designer to make the design for you.

Make it a little bit more "web 2.0" ish. Like with nicer gradients and "shine". Give it some spice.

web 2.0 is being more outdated by the day Sclek. Try google 2008 webdesign trends. If you are wanting a up o date Modern design.

Yeah i agree your site has no design at all. But from a seo point of view ? You do mean usability "user friendly" Or seo as search engine optimization . The terms sometimes get mixed up.

Anyways from a user friendly experience i would rate it as a 1 out of 10. Simply because it will never attract my attention. After all how will you attract a viewer to stay on your site. Design "appearance is a big factor in most sucessful sites and if you are wanting it to be successful at all. Then i would simply suggest redesign. HEck ever free templates these days are pretty high quality Depending on the source "designer/coder"

Well the coding side is fine and funcitional but the design needs more to it but i do admit that allot of people are good at coding but not in design.
All around 5/10

I'd say around 3/10, really not liking the design. Look around the web for design inspiration, and you'll see yours is outdated.
