Since we had some issues before and Jack still can't connect I'm wondering if anyone can replicate the behaviour he's experiencing. Even if you don't want to talk to us crazies, could you have a go at connecting to our IRCd, and post back here to say if you could get in without trouble or not.

Dwayne, this is an AOL/Roadrunner issue. Have you been using certain channels on IRC which.. well aren't exactly legal? Also, do you have an IP address that is specific to you and is not being used by anyone else who has the same ISP as you? It's possible that the same IP address was used to run bots on IRC and hence AOL has banned you from connecting to any IRC network.
