Erm...My website, zomglol.vndv.com or www.zomglol.co.nr is not loading...why???

I'm sorry but this is getting ridiculous. How can other free hosts (yes granted they dont have the same features, but they're still free webhosting so basically the same thing) have 99.9% uptime, yet vndv.com is down SO often? You can't use the free excuse when other hosts are free and are fine.

It's crazy.

Time for me to change hosts me thinks.

I have gone through so many hosts, I dont want to change again, but if needs be, I will.

Do you notice Zymic offers a load more then any other host out there? And VNDV has always had problems? The staff are trying to fix it and they are working really hard on getting it working.
The other domains work fine. And this one will soon as well.

Well, it simply seems that all 'freely hosted' vdnv sites have been down for several days and no one seems to really know why.

Considering how much difficulty I've had with all my current sites (Even just FTPing or removing an old empty folder can cause hours of hair-pulling for no real explicable reason) It makes me wonder if there is any point at all.

Even zxq.net sites are being difficult. I get disconnected via FTP pretty much every few minutes, and just uploading a 1MB folder of files can take me hours and multiple attempts. I constantly get "make sure you have permissions to access this folder" errors about 50 times a day. I get disconnected 'due to inactivity' WHILE UPLOADING FILES (which, last time I checked, is actually a form of connectivity activity).

And then, once I *FINALLY* get my small website uploaded, entire domains will simply cease functioning for days, even weeks at a time.

It is truly frustrating experience all around. And it isn't just 'a few days'. It's been several months of this kind of thing.

ya....i agree with you all... most of the time VNDV servers are down... i think its time to change Hosting servers.... i don't why VNDV is not loading since last 3 days.....

I'm having the same issues, I've already made various complaints since I've started using VNDV. The host is good if they can stay online for more than 1 day at a time.

All these complaints. A majority of you users are new to the website it seems.

Zymic is actually a very reliable hosting service. Severs are a complicated problem and it takes time to fix. On the other hand, If you are so impatient as to wait for the service to go back online, Follow the options listed below;


- UPGRADE: Lunar Pages and Zymic have joined a partnership that offers a cheap and extremely affordable hosting plan with all the features that the Zymic's free hosting offers and way more. The server has a 99.9% uptime.

- WAIT IT OUT: Like i said, Zymic will not just start a service and leave it's users with all sorts of problems. It's a fairly new Hosting service and kinks are still being worked out. This is a perfect time to truley look at the design of your website, turn on photoshop or whatever program you use, and do some serious fixing up, so when the service goes back up. Your website looks sick as all hell.

- LEAVE: As much as we would all like you to stay and watch your website thrive, The constant Playa-Hating is very unnecessary. You could just as easily switch to another free host such as ;
- FreeWebs.com
- Bravehost.com

But I guarentee you, the features they offer are no where near as good as the ones Zymic currently offers. Plus, What other freehost lets you have a website with out the On-Your-Page Advertisement? None of them.

The choice is yours. Choose wisely.

Ok, heres what i got for you guys, for those of you wanting to make a new reliable site, here is something you can use. It has more bandwith then zymic and all the same features. The only bad thing is that it has 1.5gb of disk space instead of 5.00gb, but take it or leave it. I think this one is even better then the free zymic, although i am greatfull to zymic. This site even automaticly installs forums for you, if you do not have enough knowledge to install yourself (i did it myself it is not that hard lol) I CANNOT DISPLAY THIS LINK< ZYMIC WILL NOT LET ME!!! but here is the name of the host 000webhost 000webhost 000webhost 000webhost

I hate the VNDV servers. The problem is that when I register another web I can only select VNDV so, my webs are currently offline...

Well considering, they have just about as much downtime as we are currently experiencing, and are actually upgrading servers right now from what i've heard from someone on IRC I would say they are in the same spot zymic is right now.
