Hi, I'm having trouble getting my wordpress blog up and running after the databases were wiped. I used phpMyAdmin to create a new database with the same name as my old one, and then I uploaded a saved copy of my database, and it lists the 5 tables of the DB. Is there something else I have to do? when I try to visit my website it is just blank. (http://animesearchsite.com) Any help would be appreciated, thanks.
I can see your login page when i tried to access it. It's not that hard to see if a website is a wordpress as long as you can access the login page. Don't worry, i would still have needed to know your password so i didn't try logging in. I was just checking if your wordpress was installed properly and it seemed to me that it was (because of the login page). So I was wondering, if you could check if your template is the correct one. I once installed my wordpress on my computer and found myself in the same situation only to discover that I haven't uploaded the default or the classic template so wordpress couldn't use any template to show my blog in because the default is not there. When you re-installed your wordpress with an imported database, it doesn't automatically uses the template that you have used before. It will first choose to use the default template so you have to manually change it again to the template that you desired. Sorry for the long-winded explanation.
