Actually I need two scripts and they need to be written in PHP.
1. A script to count the number of comments retrieved from mysql db and display the result.
2. A script to add the results of a survey (of which the info is stored in a db) and display the final total.
If you can help me write them or point me in the direction of an example of what i need Id very much appreciate it.

Been there, done that, got the t-shirt. thanx for the link but ive tried that tutorial and many others. I lost my pc, books, notes and manuals in a fire. so now im lost. thanx for the reply tho.
