I am not able to set permission to the dir. Whatever permissions i set are not getting reflected on the files. Please help.
Update: I am able to set permissions through a ftp client, but not through web UI

Use an FTP client like FileZilla to do this. I have had this issue to and FileZilla does it for you. Jus right-click and selct properties and there you can change them.
didnt work for me bro. I tried setting to 777 through filezilla but after a while its goes back to 755

It does work, using any ftp client.
