Hello I have recently uploaded my index.html file to zymic and would like some feedback on it. please ignore the links in the navagation panel as I have not uploaded them yet and I would like to just finish the index page. also i am working on the welcome message so please don't worry about that either.

can I link to more than 1 external css file per page? (like for index.html I want to link to more than 1 external css file)

Well you really don't have much done, the header area is way to large, make it like 50-75 pixels high. I'm not sure about that striped thing your trying to do looks kinda tacky, maybe try a simple gradient like this one,

This is a simple 3 tone gradient, dark shade of red at 0 medium dark at 50 and lighter at 100.

Patterns need to be used in moderation, in my opinion you over did yours.

P.S. That gradient looks great with a charcoal black, but remember not to use to much, to much black or white can throw your layout off, make sure there's some balance.

yah i never did like the stripes but my cousin who has a degree in web developing said it would be the best thing to do so I tried it. but he was wrong.
