I am currently a Herbalife distributor just for a little side job. And instead of using one of their sites, I just decided to create my own for fun.

I just wanted some reviews on the content and how it is displayed mainly. The template I'm not to worried about since it's not really a graphics/web designing site. But if you want to review the template as well, I guess constructive critisism is fine on that too. Anyhow, check it out, and if you find any errors by any chance let me know. Thanks.

http://rpherbalife.com or if this one doesn't work then..

Also, most of the content on there is copywritten to Herbalife, as in products, images, and overviews. Just an fyi.
Alex
That appears to be a parked page?
P3D1G0
Hmm, why is it not working?
Either way the zymic link is: http://www.rpherbalife.zymichost.com

Aye, disregard the zymichost link. I believe the regular domain is now working.

wow. brilliant work.
the color scheme is perfect and works very well with the theme.
the layout is clear, navigation is easy, everything is looking up to scratch.
however, my one criticism is that the navigation goes onto two lines and the second line has a different background. it just looks dodgy.
Oh, and where it says "navigation" on the side collumn, and it has a bg. i thing the word would look better without the bg.
i love your site. <3

Wow, thanks for the great review. Haha, I didn't get much. But I'm not quite sure on which backgroun part you are talking about? The navigation on top or the side? I understand the part that says navigation, and I'll try fixing that.
grumpy
top.
i'll try to explain what i'm talking about but that could be difficult due to the lack of any proper programs on this computer XD

there you go, i scribbled it in red
iamandy
yea, that happens on my screen
Cmain
The bug happens to me also. The layout is actually pretty slick and I think it would be nearly perfect if the logo was finished off a little better. Maybe make the green text gradient a little less yellow and smooth out the edges. Then maybe add a soft drop shadow with a small distance.
Colin
If I do Ctrl + Scroll up two times it looks fine, that means its the size of navigation text thats doing it smile.gif

you never really see a good brown layout nowadays... great job....

but you do need to fix the navbar...
iamandy
its one of the padding issuse in "nav"

you should really think before posting.. because, now i think you're a complete idiot!
Colin
...He could either change the padding or make the text smaller, And you should really think before posting:
'does Colin care what I think of him'

Because I don't wink.gif
P3D1G0
Good thing you guys caught that, cause I looked fine on my computer at work and my laptop at home, on FF and IE.
Colin
I have 1024 * 768 Resolution...I don't know if that is it or not smile.gif
Cmain
For consistent font size try something like:
CODE
body {
  font-size: small;
  }
* html body {
  font-size: x-small; /* for IE5/Win */
  f\ont-size: small; /* for other IE versions */
  }

Then use percentages to make any size adjustments later on. You should also make your font fall back to sans-serif in case people do not have Trebuchet MS.
P3D1G0
alright cool, that should help greatly Cmain. just basically put the percentage or pixel size after the x-small or small? and just a question but what is the backslash (\) do after the f in the font
Brandon
hey i like the design smile.gif

good work
Colin
FYI The domain is not working now:
This page is parked free, courtesy of GoDaddy.com
=\
P3D1G0
WHy does it do that off and on? I don't even mess with it, it just randomly does that. I don't understand why.
Colin
I have no idea; Since it goes to godaddy parking page you could try contacting them about it...

the reason its doing this is because you use GoDaddy. I would personally transfer my domain far away from them.
Colin
ROFL! Yeah, use namecheap

If you transfer though it cost another $7 or whatever right?

depends on the registrar you switch too...

some are free, others are 7-9...

i use URLFREEDOM or namecheap for my registrations... no problems what so ever with both....
P3D1G0
Yeah I'll probably transfer it then here soon.
