Well I finally decided to venture into css, and I love it, it's so easy to use. I made a holiday template for my site, it's not very good, but it's my first one. Check it out at http://2b2gbi.uuuq.com/test.html and give me your comments.

Oh, almost forgot, the links don't work.

That's a good start, the text in the header looks ugly, did you use an image? You could easily do that text in html. The content are is kinda boring nothing really there, but I like the snow flakes at the top and the bottom, the copyright text at the bottom is too big too.

Nice first try, keep working on this one, I think it could turn out nicely.

Edit: Also the nav, I think you should make the darker color the text color and the lighter color the hover.

Thanks, I used an image on the header text because the font is not websafe. And i had the colors of the nav flipped before, and it looked wierd on the light colored layout.

Well tbh, I think html Arial or Veranda would look better, just cus that text is anti aliased, no sense having it as an image, just use a web safe font, and also it looks stretched out.

My advice would be to come up with the content section, work on that and see if it jogs any ideas.

maybe check out this tut for an icy looking font, looks pretty cool, http://www.psdcore.com/tutorials/text-effe...ld-text-effect/
