hi,

I'm working on creating a social network site for me and some friends to use, using Elgg 1.2.

I FTPed the files to my uuuq website (http://fragnet.uuuq.com) and started running through the setup

i got to the system settings page, and when i complete it and click accept, it comes up with a 404 error.

No files are missing or incorrectly named, and i have changed permissions on folders i think could be affected.

Any ideas?

http://manacim.uuuq.com/demyx/

right when i click save, it goes to a 404 error.

It's trying to action install, rather than install.php. It's an error in the script, not uuuq.

so how would i fix this? i don't think there's anything wrong with the script, it works perfectly fine locally and this is a fresh install

I have the same problem. I have uploaded the files, created MySQL database and User and Elgg 1.6 has accepted it. But, on the install.php page, something goes wrong. Whenever I complete the form the click 'save', I get lead to some page saying 404 error.

I don't know what's the problem. mellow.gif

Oh and, I have created a directory where the uploaded file will be stored, named 'data', with all the permissions. Could you please visit the following page and tell me what pah am I supposed to enter there?
http://gizmogyan.zxq.net/Elgg/install.php

I have created the directory here http://gizmogyan.zxq.net/

Please, help!
