I cannot create a view on my database. The error I get is #1142 - CREATE VIEW command denied to user 'abc123_abcadm'@'localhost' for table 'vwmuseroffice'

Is this because the username is longer than the specified limit, as some of the forum posts point to a 15 char limit or something. But mine is just 13 chars.

No, this is a permissions error - you haven't given the user the required permissions.

I have the same problem.

But the biggest problem is that I'm unable to grant the "VIEW" privilege to any of my users...

What I' m suppose to do ?
