What's the difference between joomla templates and regular templates. I know they are different but does anybody know how to code a template for joomla?

Iono exactly how to code Joomla cus I've never done it, but Joomla is just basic HTML/CSS but you have to add bits of code to make Joomla work, pretty much all CMS work that way. I've got to use a CMS for my band webpage, if I finish it before you figure it out I'll let you know how to code Joomla haha could be a while. I'd just google, how to code Joomla or something, I'm sure there's all kinds of tuts

I'd probably just take a standard Joomla template apart - work out what php code is what part of the page - and make sure I include all of the code when I write my own!

Although this is easy to say, having never even tried. But this would be my strategy.
