Well, like you said your code is truly a mess haha. Fortunately I can help, you don't just have one error here, I saw about 5 or 6 at a quick glance. One of the big ones is the fact that your menu should be a <ul>. Also I don't think <b></b> is considered valid any more?
To help your problem, please post an image of what the site should look like. I can help you fix your code.

Thank you so much, I'm still learning html/css. I think I'm going to start over, I really don't like how it looks anyway. I really like how your site looks. Thanks Again.

When I took a look at it (live preview), I did not see any text. Your CSS has a little problem. Also I would recommend you do not add background color property to your index body tag. It's much easier and better if you use it in your Stylesheet.
