Thanks.

some people use MS paint to draw cars tongue.gif

I am guessing using photoshop and lots of skills you can do the same. I believe some 3d tools.. but damn that must be hard.

Yeah, they use 3D programs such as Autocad. smile.gif

Awesome!

Cars like this one?

or cars like your pic?

As for the first one, that was drawn in MS Paint, and some of the coloring was done in another free image editor.

As for the second one, Photoshop cannot draw quite like that (could get close, but not easily). Either Cad or Maya any of the 3D editors, I'm sure blender (free program) could do it if you got good. either get good with the free programs or spend $5000 grand and learn to do it on Cad or Maya.

Good luck,

*edit lol I didn't actually click on the pic before, looks like it could have been done in PS, but Cad is still the way to go.

I would use a 3d program such as my personal favorite 3d studio max. But i you can use a 2d application such as photoshop but more ideally illustrator to achieve the same result. I personally would use illustrator. Its very difficult if you dont know what you are doing. Also you would need alot of experience in creating such vector art.

The photo you supplied is made in photoshop. You take a wallpaper of a car, then modify it fully, and make it as real as possible. No 3D tools required.

Quite fun to do, did it too for a while. Pictuning was the term I think.

sweet, thanks I knew it wasn't a CAD or a 3d picture. It is clearly 2d with alot of shadowing and detail.

Well I could have told you that biggrin.gif I thought you were asking what program is best for creating cars like that. That's more of a modeling thing, so CAD or Maya biggrin.gif
japansie
thanks everyone but I actually found out how to do it.
you take a photo of a real car and edit the crap out of it...really hard for me tho.
i dont have a tablet or touch screen yet.
MrTouz
Tablet is what you need... but damn 400bucks for a nice one :/

I did have some nice 3D CAD software especially for car design and manufacturing but who knows where it is now. sad.gif
I will see if I can find some links or even alternatives to what I had.
