There's some faulty Javascript on the File Manager page. I deleted a file but couldn't upload any files (tried Firefox, IE, and Chrome). The page was working the last time I tried (Dec 12th). Anyone else have this problem?

I have the same problem. The javascripts aren't working on my page either, and I know it's not my scripting because when I load the page from my hard drive it works just fine. Also my ftp isn't working. Says I'm exceeding my limit with a 4kb file. WTF?

The FTP uploading issue should be fixed by morning. As for the other control panel issues I'm not sure about when they will be fixed.

Were the files uploaded by ftp? If so you need to use that to remove them.

Actually I'm trying to remove them using ftp, but I get a "Permission Denied" error whenever i try to delete/overwrite. I'm able to delete the file from the control panel, but i can't make any changes to my files from there nor from ftp(overwrite permission problem).
I've tried changing the file permissions, but i can't change them from the control panel, i was able to change my file's permissions from ftp using FileZilla but i can't change the folder's permissions from anywhere, and there appears to be the whole problem.
Do you have any idea?
Thanks for your fast response!

Hi, sorry for he late response
I'm getting the error "Response: 553 Rename/move failure: Permission denied" when trying to replace my file.
Also i can't make changes on it from the control panel, here i don't get an error, it just acts as it saved the file.

Hey! I found the error, when you create a folder using the control panel it doesn't have the necessary permissions to work with ftp, the sme happens wih the files, so while this is corrected my suggestion is that you neven opperate files or folders thru the control panel, always use ftp
Thanks Bread!

Hi again
There's still an error in the file manager.
I can't edit files, no matter how I uploaded it, and I can't upload a file using the file manager to a folder uploaded by FTP.
It might be just a permission problem, could you check it out? My site is above.
I don't know if it's still the same problem posted above.
FTP upload/overwrite works great, but I don't always have an ftp-permissive connection, so I really need to be able to use the file manager
Thanks!
