Hello everyone,

I'm having a problem with my installation for Joomla, I have tried several things. After I uploaded the files into a sub folder, I changed all of the permissions to *777*. Also I renamed one the configure dist file to configuration.php. Can someone please help me out because everytime I try to run the installation all I get is restricted....

You have to create a blank configuration.php dont use the dist configuration file that comes with joomla. Go to notepad and save it as configuration.php then upload it to your website and it should work if it does not work change the permission of the configuration.php
