chromeburner
Hi,

@1st. Thank you for your Service.

2nd. I got a problem with mysql on my account.

my username (chromeburner) generates a more than 16letter long database user name.
so i cant login and reciever error from my php installation and at the zymic mysql backend.

>Warning: Failed to execute the query SHOW GRANTS FOR 'chromeburner_zzl_org_2'@localhost; (String >'chromeburner_zzl_org_2' is too long for user name (should be no longer than 16)) in /var/wkscript/db.php on line 68

could you change my database username to a thinner one?
please?

The problem exists with the latest MySQL server, it enforces the User length, where as in the old server the Zymic server front end took advantage of it not enforcing 16 characters and had usernames spanning over the 16 character length.

We're currently trying to find a work around.

The only advice I can offer at the moment is to create a super short subdomain and use the db credentials for that.

yeah thats what ive tryed.
i opend an account called "4500"
that works- but i cant activate an account in this.
i did not recieve an email the .jsp file hangs

but i never recieved any mail i swear...
but i do try again right now.
last but not least thanx for your service and hardwork.

I'm experiencing the same problem. My DB username is longer than 16 characters, so I can't log in. Also I try to create a new short subdomain but I didn't got the activation email.
