If I am making a website via Dreamweaver, How do I "connect" it to my account?

Well you can either use coldfusion extension for dreamweaver or just use any FTP program like Filezilla to upload the files. I find it easier to upload via FTP.

I am using Dreamweaver CS4, when I create a "new site" in DW it asks me if I want to use FTP, then requests the appropriate info (host, user, password, etc) I'm not sure about previous editions since I have only started using FTP after I got CS4.

If you already have an existing "site" folder, you should be able to change the upload data in DW somewhere ... hope this helps
