Hi, i try to install IPB and when i get to step instaling show me this :

We were unable to write your configuration information to the conf_global.php file. Please verify that this file has full read and write privileges.

but i mod this to 777 and still show me the same :S:S can anybody help me pls

i use phpbb3 and had the sam ekind of problem just leave it for about 2 days and it fixes iself

matrix00: If i recall, You had joined IRC asking for help but you was told to remove it or your site will be deleted, as you didn't pay for the IPB forum.

if you want a forum on your site, you can use phpBB2 or phpBB3 or ikonboard (they are all free to download and install)

(Invision board used to be free, but i've been out of the loop for to long, and see it is a payed service now.)
