Back in 2006, I worked on a new site design called Superhuman. Due to my lazyness, I never got the chance to fully re-code it and modify the images so that they load faster. Three years later, I finally decided to re-make it from scratch. I re-made the PSD, then converted the images to PNG-32 low file sizes. Then went into coding it.

Now that I finished it, I would first like to get some feedback and then some suggestions on how to make this an active template with some javascript effects. What possibilities do you see from this template?

I was thinking of a stylechanger script, where if a user clicks on a certain icon, it will change the color accordingly.

BTW - This is a Shrud Studios Pure TM project. So it will be available for free download when Shrud officially opens. (Yeah Shrud was supposed to open at the end of this month, until we encountered a huge bug in the system that made the template system go haywire).

i like the colors. I have a wide screen, and it aligns to the left. Maybe a center align? Otherwise, great job like always!

I belive thats what its meant todo =]

I dislike the colours and the drop shadow.

Thank you uncled1023. The alignment to the left is set there on purpose. The theme/layout itself is a left aligned version. Brandon never really like my choice of colors.

YEAAAA

I remember this oen, you showed it to me with the rest of them, i did not like it because the main image took 5 minutes to load. Its much faster i believe.

The site is cool. Hmmm, what to change ? nothing.

What to add ?

Remember that dropdown you had on your other active sites ? (top bar that drops down) i would use the same system for the login, but droping down at the exact place it is now. So if not dropeddown there is only the gradient, but if you hit the link on top it will drop down at where it is now.

I like how you made the My Places with the favicons, probably a JS or AJAX effect when you hover it a comment box shows up with a bigger image and a description, and a link ? something around 110W 90H.

So the drop-down with the login? What do you want me to do with the login area that's already there?

If I'm correct, you want the Qtip effect for the image hovers (myPlaces)? That is pretty simple to do. Actually I was thinking the text info would appear on top of all image or a larger image will show up on top of the small thumbs.
MrTouz
exactly what i meant for the qtip. (BTW im taking your tutorial as well to integrate it to my site... i thank you very much for that tongue.gif)

For the login : (that's only a suggestion... no promises it will look good tongue.gif)

Remove the one you have.
ad the drop down you had on your other sites (clic on top and it drops down)
instead of having a 100% width drop down like a BAR just have a bar that's the LOGIN size (around 250px i guess) and make it drop down at the exact same place as your login.
once login, the login changes to there profile (small picture, username, date registered... posts... what ever you want)

I also don't like the colors. The red S on the image just seems so out of place compared to the white/blue in the rest of the layout :\

otherwise, it's a good layout.
IamShipon1988
Lol well, I'll try to come up with a different color style as well.

hmmm... the site looks great. the color is fine. i just don't like the header especially the font in "It's time for a change... let me change." And the photo looks blurry.
IamShipon1988
The photo was purposely made blurry. That gives the overall tone of the design. The text found on the site can be changed whenever needed. When this template is available for download, I will let you know.

The color blending is nice. Very cold to user eyes. I also like the layout simple but clean design.
