I would like to report that I have the same problem.

After creating a MySQL username, it registers the account as "created" under MySQL users, but there is no way to assign privileges to a database as it does not appear in the list of usernames.

Same problem here. It seems like creating users has been down for 5 days now. I can't create users, therefore I can't log in to phpmyadmin, therefore I'm stuck here.

I have the same problem. Even though it says that the users are created.. they aren't shown.

Use this page. It is a temporary fix.

You need to be logged into your site, and know your database and user names.
