Been 24hrs now I since submitted a request to create a site - I know it's all free and that, but if there is a known problem, surely they can post a courtesy message on here explaining the likely outcome - I would if it was my "customers" - maybe just explaining weather the SQL problem prevents new accounts from being set up or whatever it affects. There seem to be quite a lot of people left hanging here.

nice use of "header1"

They have told everybody exactly whats wrong, and what there doing to fix it... ever use search or actually read threads?

Yes, clearly I am aware that there is an SQL problem, as I mentioned it in my post. The point is, how long is it likely to take and what other parts of the service does it affect. This is not clear - as certain 'related' problems in many of the other posts, like sites being completely down, seem to have cleared up. You can't assume that everyone knows as much as you do, or even knows where to look. I have read as much as I can, but it would be nice to have a fairly clear explanation of the situation and somewhere obvious for people that don't spend their lifes looking at forums.

well in that case a simple server status page would fit your needs eh?

and how would i know anymore than you? I'm not a admin, just another Zymic user who loves common sense...

A Bit'o Brit coming through - *S* - Oh Yeah and what's with the typo?
...ever use spell check?

Spell check doesn't correct grammar jackass. And who has told you I'm a English major? Apparently no one. People should just see that everyone else has problems and post with them. Not start the same thread over and over again complaining about the same thing.

I understand your having a "problem", congratulations, but personally i don't think the board should be spammed with the same message posted over and over again in different threads.

EMOruffino, I couldnt agree more
