Standard License:
- You are allowed to use on any website you own
- You cannot claim that you are the designer
- You cannot resell the layout unless you transfer the whole license

Exclusive License:
- You are allowed to use on any website you own
- You are allowed to claim that you are the designer
- You are allowed resell the layout as many times as you like
- Full exclusive rights to the template

Those are some hefty-ass prices. I would have thought that being here so long you would know that that isn't worth $150 dollars for a standard license.

Don't get me wrong - I like the layout alot. I just don't think it's worth nearly the amount of money you're asking for it.

I would say in the 30's-40's for a standard license for someone who really loves the layout.

They sell their layouts in the $60's and the majority of them are pretty friggen awesome. Albeit, their unique price is -wayyyyy- too high, they sell regular licenses for a good price.

I just don't think you'll get much business selling layouts for that high UNLESS you are making a template specifically to fit someones needs, a completely custom one - then I wouldn't be so down on the price.

All i can do is laugh, thats not worth $150+ I wouldn't even say its worth $50.

Wow then help me out dude. If you can sell that for 150 for standard license then I can sell most of mine for couple hundreds. Honestly I don't think they should be worth that much. Maybe around $20-30 for standard license.

BTW - I did notice the post on WHT. But what you have to note is that they are not really "designers."

Well the best place is WHT. Since the majority of people on that forum run web hosts, chances are some of the more successful hosts will be purchasing designs. And the more successful hosts have higher budgets.

But another note is the only design that people buy at WHT are web hosting related designs because obviously, why does a host need a blog design or a cooking design... lol.

I've seen some people selling designs for around $400 on WHT and people have purchased them.

I like the layout, but i believe it is un-exploited (meaning you can do a LOT more with this layout) Huh right now ? 40bucks for a standard licence... probably 80bucks for the layout.

Whats the current status

I like it, it is a great template. But $75 is too high for a template, you probably won't sell that template for more than say, $35. That's a good starting point. Plus, a good idea is to try asking people how much they would pay for it, rather than say one specific price. Leave it. And wait for the poor feedback to roll in.

~Some constructive criticism:
Try adding a more liquid menu to it, and if you tried charging $150 for only a CSS template, at least add some DHTML or flash to it.

Not wanting to be mean or anything, but your prices are ridiculously for a simple layout which is probably why you haven't sold it yet. You need to lower your prices alot!

Actually I have had a few people wanting to buy it, but then bailing out on me. And to be honest it isn't an outragous price. I have seen several other designs listed at around $500 and were not as good as this one being sold.
