So.. For the past.. two (maybe three) months I've had a pretty good website idea up in this little brain of mine. It's probably not something most of you would be interested in (more of an adult oriented website [and no, it's not porno!]) but there are a few of you that might, and if I ever got around to starting (and finishing) it, it would be great help to me
.
Anywho - The layout would be the hardest part of the damn thing.. The rest is just inside php coding which shouldn't be too hard as it's pretty basic.
Oh, the website itself isn't even what this post is about.. I was just rambling
Basically, what this post is about is the fact that it really sucks when you have a great idea and you know how you want it to go, and how you want to do it but... Time doesn't allow you to do it.
You have work, friends, lovers, family - the list goes on, and on, and on... It just SUCKS.
Right now I work 12 hrs a day, 6 days a week (I'm the acting manager as of now). On my one day off (Wednesday) I've always got something to do. Wake up early and go do something. I haven't gotten to actually -sleep in- in God knows how long.
Now, you might not think this is a big deal (not sleeping in) but when you're so used to a certain schedule (ie, sleep from 4a - 1p then work from 3-11) and then you get THRUST into a completely different lifestyle (ie, sleep from 11p-6a [or less] and work 7a-7p) it's pretty devastating to ones body.
And because of the many things I'm busy doing the past month or so I've rarely had time for Zymic or web design in general. All the damn good ideas running around and I don't even have time to attempt a layout, or coding.. Just so damn exhausted.
On the up side... The overtime is nice, and the raise will be nice when he makes me full-fledged manager will be pretty cool.
PS: I love the spell checker built into Google Chrome

LOL...Google Chrome does dominate over others. Unfortunately, at the moment, I am running Ubuntu. Relating to your main post, you are actually lucky in a sense. You are just working. I am currently attending college and working. My schedule is basically this: wake up at 6AM, get ready, head to office at 7AM. Head to campus for lunch with friends at 1PM. Go to class at 2PM. Go to lab from 6-9PM. Come home, eat dinner and do homework. Go to sleep at 12 or 3am (depends on the amount of work) and start all over again. Why do you think the Shrud Studios, Sizmos Media and 2-Job.com has been delayed for such a long time. LOL. For Shrud I am lucky to have Garo (Mr. Touz) working with me, else I would've been soo far behind.
BTW - Excellent font choice!

LMAO!!! I kinda wanted to hit you while reading it

not really sure why

haha but I feel your pain I'm still in high school and I work 45 hours a week and do online classes I'm usually so exhausted that if I have a day off I just want to sleep, I try to draw in my sketch book every day though even if i just open the book and scribble I cant tell you how many web layouts or site ideas I've came up with and mapped out on Bev naps at work... lol. Truthfully though in this economy we're just lucky to have jobs.

Yes it sucks, cuz i have all the time free, but I usually lazy haha, so I prefer to Skype most of the time, and the most attractive thing while I am online is chatting with friends, it takes long hours, but I also have good ideas haha
